Senior Writer
  • Chief writer and reporter for monthly magazine aimed at strategic issues facing chief marketing officers at Fortune 1000 companies. Developed and researched story ideas, wrote at least one feature story and shorter pieces for every issue. My stories were instrumental in CMO being named Magazine of Year by The American Society of Business Press Editors (ABSPE) after having published only four issues.
  • Topics written on include profiles of executives, new marketing strategies, branding, how to handle mergers, new technologies for reaching the customer and within the enterprise, career development, best practices, breaking news and trends.

  • Created and wrote the daily blog Collateral Damage, an insightful and humorous look at marketing and business in general. Collateral Damage drew more traffic than any other web-only content on the CMO website. That blog and other of my contributions to our website helped the site win awards as New Web Publication and Best Overall Web Publication by The American Society of Business Press Editors (ABSPE) in 2005.
